How does the History Major prepare you for diverse and exciting professional opportunities, including careers in law, corporate business, and technology? What History skills will you draw upon in these career pathways, and how should you develop these skills during your undergraduate degree? How can the History Department help support your career goals by offering funding for summer internships? Come discuss these questions and more with two former History majors who have pursued careers in these fields. Learn how you can translate your History degree and skills to your career path of interest. Carter Cook graduated from Wake Forest with a degree in History, an MBA in Business, and a JD from Wake Forest’s School of Law, and he currently works in the university’s legal department. Joseph Stubenrauch earned a PhD in British History from Indiana University and was Associate Professor of History and Graduate Program Director at Baylor University. He recently switched career paths to the tech world to become a curriculum developer and program manager at Amazon Web Services.
