Mentored Research
Faculty in the History Department have a long and rich tradition of mentoring students interested in designing independent research projects, whether during the semester or over the summer. Students are able to pursue a range of scholarly and creative opportunities, working one-on-one with individual faculty members. Past History majors have interned at local and national museums, presented research findings at national conferences, and carried out research at major historical archives located in the United States and abroad. Explore the links below to learn more about these opportunities. The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Center includes additional information about resources for supporting student scholarship.
